There are a couple of things to consider before you contact the recruiter. Firstly, what we are looking for in members has to be made clear. We want commitment. You will be expected to get involved with the groups activities. This could involve the less glamorous jobs such as digging trenches at events, putting up tents, laying out kit. Of course we all like to get dressed up and re-enact but this group is not just about hanging on at the periphery while somebody else does all the work. Whilst taking the hobby seriously we also attempt to make the hobby as enjoyable and educational as possible for both the members and  the public.
